Kathmandu Yoga Tour in 2 Days: How It Runs and What It Costs (2027)
Last updated 17 October 2026.
Short answer: Our Kathmandu yoga tour is a private two-day yoga and meditation programme for people with a short gap in Kathmandu, before or after a trek, or between work. You get asana, breathwork, meditation and talks on yoga philosophy with a certified instructor, at your own level. The Kathmandu Yoga Tour, 2 days costs USD 265 on Budget, USD 340 on Standard and USD 590 on Luxury per person for two to four people, with the sessions, your hotel and transport included.
I am Shreejan. I built this for travellers who have two days in Kathmandu and want their breath back, not another sightseeing schedule. The practice, the meditation and the meals are the main programme. If you want yoga with more travel, the eight-day Kathmandu and Pokhara version is the better fit.

How do the two days run?
Day 1. Your instructor meets you, asks about your experience, any injuries and what you want from the two days, and starts with a gentle session to release the tiredness of travel. The afternoon is your first full practice: asana, breathwork and a short meditation. Dinner is vegetarian on Standard and Luxury.
Day 2. The day opens with a morning practice, Hatha or Ashtanga based depending on how you feel, then a session on yoga philosophy that draws on the Hindu and Buddhist traditions of the valley. A closing session ties it together with a guided meditation, a final breathwork practice and time to ask the instructor anything. You are back in Thamel by early afternoon, with a certificate of participation.
Because it is private, we adjust the balance to you. If you want a longer morning practice or more meditation and less philosophy, tell us. We confirm the exact venue and timings with you after you book.

Can I make it longer?
Yes. Our Kathmandu and Pokhara Yoga Tour adds Pokhara and the lakes; I explain how it runs in my eight-day yoga tour guide. If you want to understand the options in Nepal first, read my Nepal yoga retreats guide and yoga and meditation in Nepal. Many guests pair the two days with a Swayambhunath and Durbar Square day tour.
