This nine-day tour is built around a slow pace. Mornings start late, most days have one or two short visits, and there is a full rest day in Pokhara. You fly between Kathmandu and Pokhara, so there are no long road days.

The highest point is the Sarangkot viewpoint at about 1,600 m, reached by vehicle. There is no trekking. Temples have steps, squares have cobbles, and your guide will choose the easiest route and viewpoint at each stop.

Tell us about your health and mobility when you book. We are not medical professionals and cannot judge whether the tour suits you, so please check with your doctor first. We adjust the plan to what you tell us.

Why Book This Trek With The Everest Holiday

Three Generations of Family Guides

Family-run since 2016 with three generations of guiding heritage. Not an agency — the family that runs the company leads your trek personally.

Private Group — No Strangers

Every trek we run is private. Your group only. We never combine bookings or add strangers to your party. If you book solo, you walk with a guide; if you book as four friends, your group stays four.

Nagarjun Learning Center Giveback

A fixed share of every booking funds the Nagarjun Learning Center — 70 children, 7 community centres, 3 full-time teachers, 600+ medical interventions, 275+ women supported. You see the impact at the centre on day 1.

Fixed departures are dates we have already committed to run. Your party still treks as its own private group with its own guide; we never merge bookings or add strangers, and solo trekkers are welcome on any date. Private departures on any other date you choose are also available. On both, the per-person price is set by the size of your own party.

FAQs

Mornings start at 9:30, most days have one or two short visits, and day 6 is a full rest day. You fly between Kathmandu and Pokhara, so the longest drive is under an hour. There is no trekking and no altitude. Temples have steps and squares have cobbles, and your guide picks the easiest routes.
We cannot judge that for you. We are not medical professionals. Please talk to your doctor, tell us about your health and walking when you book, and we will change the plan to fit. If a day is too much, we shorten it.
Kathmandu is at 1,400 m and Pokhara at 820 m. The Sarangkot viewpoint is about 1,600 m and is reached by vehicle. There is no trekking and no high pass.
The route and the pace are the same. Budget gives you simple twin-share hotels, breakfast and an English-speaking guide. Standard gives you 3-star private rooms, all meals and a guide in your language where we have one. Luxury gives you deluxe ensuite hotels, all meals, a senior guide and a more spacious vehicle.
If we cannot run your trip, we refund what you have paid, less taxes, bank or card charges and any money already spent on your behalf, or move you to another date. If you cancel yourself, the deposit is not refundable, but you can reschedule free to any date within one year with at least 72 hours' notice notice.
Yes. Buy travel insurance at home, before you travel, and check that it covers medical care, repatriation, cancellation and the dates of your trip. We do not recommend insurance bought in Nepal.
