How to choose
For Everest, choose between the private tour, which keeps the helicopter for your group, and the shared seat, which is cheaper and flies with other guests. From Pokhara, Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal are short, spectacular flights; Muktinath is a pilgrimage flight to the temple. If you have five days, the Annapurna Base Camp trek with a helicopter return lets you walk up and fly out.
Flights depend on the weather, and the pilot decides on the day. We tell you the plan the evening before. If you have a heart or lung condition, ask your doctor before booking, because you go from Kathmandu to over 5,000 m in under an hour.

Questions people ask
How much is a helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp?
On this page the Everest helicopter tour starts from USD 2,085 per person for a shared seat. A private tour costs more and the price per person falls as more people share the helicopter. Each trip page shows the price for 1, 2, 3 or 4 guests.
How long do you stay at the landing?
Landings at high points are short, usually long enough for photos and breakfast at a lower stop, because staying long at that height without acclimatising is not safe.
What if the weather is bad?
We wait for a safe window. If the flight cannot go on your day, we offer the next possible day.
How do I book and pay?
A 10% deposit holds your dates and the rest is paid when you arrive in Kathmandu, in US dollars or euros, cash or card (card adds 3.5%). If your plans change you can move the trip free to any date within a year; the deposit itself is not refunded if you cancel.
