How to choose
For one day, pick two of Kathmandu's great sites: Pashupatinath and Boudhanath, or Swayambhunath and Durbar Square, or the old towns of Bhaktapur and Patan. For a short trip, Kathmandu, Nagarkot and Dhulikhel or the Kathmandu and Pokhara city tour work well. With a week, add Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, and Chitwan for the jungle. Every trip comes in Budget, Standard or Luxury. Budget keeps the cost down, Standard adds private rooms, all meals and one porter for every two people, and Luxury gives you the best rooms, your own porter and all meals with extras. A child pays the adult price.

Are hotels included in your tours?
Yes, tours include the hotels listed on each trip page. Our treks do not include Kathmandu hotels, but our tours do.
Can I see Nepal without trekking?
Yes. Every tour on this page is by road with short, easy walks, and Pokhara, Nagarkot and Sarangkot give you mountain views from a car or a viewpoint.
How many days do I need for Kathmandu?
Two full days cover the main temples and old squares comfortably; three lets you add Bhaktapur or a sunrise at Nagarkot.
How do I book and pay?
A 10% deposit holds your dates and the rest is paid when you arrive in Kathmandu, in US dollars or euros, cash or card (card adds 3.5%). If your plans change you can move the trip free to any date within a year; the deposit itself is not refunded if you cancel.
