For a safer travel experience, please read our terms and conditions carefully before reserving your trip with us! These terms and conditions will take effect on the day that you reserve your trip with us.

General Booking Conditions

For Tours to Tibet, Bhutan, and Nepal: When scheduling a trip, you will need to provide a 20% deposit of the total fee as well as a photocopy of your passport. Once you submit the down payment for the trip, the 20% deposit is non-refundable and will be charged as a trip cancellation fee if you decide to cancel any day after booking. You can pay the remainder of the fees upon your arrival in Kathmandu. You can start your trip only when you have made the full payment.

If you are planning to travel directly to Bhutan and Tibet, you must pay the remaining balance at least 20 days before your departure date. In case you are unable to make the payment within the given time, we retain the right to cancel your trip.

Credit Card Payment

Last Minute Booking

If you weren’t able to make a prior booking, we have an option for a last-minute trip booking. Connect with The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd to book a trip to Nepal just three days before the trip departure dates. However, you may not be able to make last-minute bookings for Bhutan or Tibet trips.

Trip Postponement

The traveler should provide a written notification to The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd. stating the reason for the postponement.

Free Trip Postponement

If political instability or a global pandemic prevents you from traveling on the scheduled dates after the trip has been confirmed. You can reschedule your trip for a later date that is suitable for you both in terms of safety and convenience. You are free to select any dates that work best for your trip. We have a provision for complimentary trip postponement to our clients.

Cancellation Procedures

Please be advised that the 20% deposit you paid at the time of booking will be regarded as a trip cancellation fee if you decide to cancel your trip after it has been scheduled. Furthermore, this policy becomes operative as soon as you provide us with confirmation of your reservation. The 20% down payment is not refunded.

Additionally, if you have paid more than 20% of the trip deposit, the 20% trip deposit will be subtracted from that total, and the remaining cash will be reimbursed to you using the original mode of payment.

Risks and Liabilities

Every tour that goes through China, Bhutan, or Nepal is run following the policies and guidelines set forth by that nation's tourism bureau. We disclaim all liability for any modifications or cancellations of the trip resulting from unavoidable events, such as modifications to the nation's laws and regulations, governmental restrictions, natural disasters, unstable political environments, flight cancellations, delays, illness or accidents, vehicle breakdowns, etc. The customers should pay for any additional expenses incurred as a result of these occurrences. As a result, purchasing travel insurance is strongly advised.

Incomplete Tour

For whatever reason why a tour, trek, or expedition is canceled by the customer, we are not liable for any reimbursements.

Unavoidable Circumstances

In case of an unforeseen circumstance, we will schedule another trip for you. We will thus set up an alternative tour for you if the trip you booked is canceled, so your money won't be wasted.

Travel Insurance

All of our clients must have a complete travel insurance policy to participate in any of our activities. All medical costs, personal injuries, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, gear loss, natural disasters, baggage theft or damage, and personal effects must be covered by the insurance.

Flight Cancellation/Delay

In remote locations, especially the Everest, Annapurna, Dolpo, Simikot, and Jumla regions, flight delays and cancellations are expected to occur often during inclement weather. It is therefore advised to plan on staying a few extra days apart and to have extra cash in case of delays so that you can pay for lodging and food. The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd will have no liability for any consequential costs. Please make appropriate plans.

In the event of Unlawful Activities/Crime During the Tour

The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd. disclaims all liability for reimbursements if you violate any laws or commit a crime while on your tour and are forced to depart Nepal.

CAUTION

The aforementioned terms and conditions are only relevant if you make your travel arrangements directly with The Everest Holiday Pvt. Ltd. If you book the trip through a third-party, agent, you will be bound by terms and conditions.

Note: If you suffer any losses as a result of updating or changing our website, we won't be held responsible.
