Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit

Travelers beginning their trek by flying into Lukla can collect the permit from Lukla. Or, for those treks, Jiri or Salleri can obtain the permit in Monjo. The permit costs NPR 2000 per person. Bear in mind that you cannot get a permit in Kathmandu.

Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit

The Sagarmatha National Park entry permit costs NPR 3,000 per person. You can either collect the permit from the Nepal Tour office or from the Everest office at Monjo.

Day 01:

Representatives from The Everest Holidays Pvt. Ltd. will receive you at the international airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to your hotel. You can rest or spend the rest of the day taking walks in the periphery of your hotel spending time at cafes or restaurants.

Day 02:

Your guided excursion to Kathmandu begins early in the morning. The excursion will take you through numerous religious and cultural monuments around the town. Take this opportunity to find out the gems of Kathmandu and witness the unique traditions and structure the city flaunts. The guided excursion of Kathmandu will take you to locations of historical, religious, and cultural significance like the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Swyambhunath.

Day 03:

Get on a quick 35-minute flight to the Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. The flight is interesting but provides a bird’s eye view of the Himalayas and the varying landscapes. You will meet the relaxation of your hiking team in Lukla. Begin your trek to Phakding village along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 04:

Walk along the trails of the Dudh Koshi River. You get to Jorsale where you may stop for lunch. Continue in the direction of Namche Bazaar after lunch. The path to Namche Bazaar can be a little steed and rugged.

After reaching Namche Bazaar, you may rest at your hotel or take a walk around the commercial hub of the Himalayas. Here, you can purchase essentials, go to restaurants or cafes, and meet fellow trekkers. You’ll be spending two nights in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05:

Today, you may explore Namche Bazar and get insights into Sherpa traditions and ways of life. During the rest day in Namche, acclimatize and get used to the high altitude by way of going to nearby places. Visit the Khumjung Village, well-known for the mythical yeti scalp housed inside the monastery there.

You will also go on a short hike to the Everest View Hotel. Enjoy the amazing views of the Himalayan peaks and breathtaking terrains.

Day 06:

From Namche Bazaar, the trail takes you to Sanasa from where you can move closer to Dole. You will climb 4,000 meters to Mongla before descending to Phortse Tenga. Another climb awaits you earlier than attaining Dole, in which you will be spending the night.

Day 07:

You leave Dole behind and climb up the valley traveling past numerous towns before descending to Machhermo. Here, be rewarded with breathtaking perspectives of Thamserku, Kantega, and Cho Oyu.

Day 08:

Prepare to reach the trek’s closing destination as you trek to the picturesque Pangka, alongside a glacier river. Next, prepare for a steep ascend to the rocky terrain that takes you across the first Gokyo Lake and into the valley. You will soon encounter the second and third Gokyo lakes. From right here, you can along Gokyo Lakes as you reach Gokyo village.

Day 09:

After breakfast, the journey for the day starts. You walk through paths leading to Gokyo Ri in which you may discover breathtaking vistas of Mount Lhotse, Everest, and Makalu as you progressively head toward Gokyo Ri. You will hike back to Machhermo later that day.

Day 10:

Starting at this point, the trail is in the main downhill descends. Your first stop for the day is Dole, and ultimately, you make it to Phortse Tenga. The hike from Phortse Tenga can be difficult but the view of the rhododendron forest leading to Mongla Danda is fascinating and worth the attempt. Following a descent to Kyanjoma (3500 m), the path continues toward Namche Bazar.

Day 11:

You will have breakfast at Namche Bazaar before heading back to Lukla. In Lukla, you can catch up with your team and fellow trekkers to rejoice your accomplishment.

Day 12:

You need to wake up early to board your flight lower back to Kathmandu. During your 35-40 minute flight, you may experience the breathtaking vistas of the Himalayan peaks from the sky. You will be guided back to your hotel upon attaining Kathmandu. You have the rest of the day to yourself.

Day 13:

After a hearty breakfast, a representative from our team will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home.
