Day 01:

You will begin with a drive to embrace the views that lead you to Kande. After reaching Kande, you will take on a short hike to Deurali, then to Pothana at 2600 meters. At Pothana, you will break for the day. Here, you can enjoy a clear view of the Annapurna massif.

Day 02:

You will hike to Low Camp today, passing through lovely bamboo and rhododendron forests. The momentous near encounter with the recognizable Mt. Machhapuchre, positioned in spectacular proximity, is an amazing highlight of the day.

The Himalayan foothills and wide valleys spread out in front of you as you ascend to 2970 meters, providing an incredibly breathtaking background. Spend the night in Low Camp.

Day 03:

The trek to your next destination, High Camp, takes you deeper into the Annapurna region. Trek through the grasslands and pass the rhododendron trees along the way. Your journey mostly comprises steep climbs until you reach your destination, where you'll be spending the night, at 3580 meters.

Day 04:

Wake up early to trek to the Mardi Himal Base Camp. This is the highlight of your journey. As you walk towards the Mardi Himal Base Camp, you will catch the golden hues of the sun casting over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.

You will continue to climb as the track tests you with rough paths and elevation increase, taking you to an altitude of 4500 meters where the splendor of the Himalayas envelops you, with Macchapuchre, Huinchuli, Annapurna South, and Annapurna I standing in breathtaking awe.

Day 05:

Today, you will be mostly climbing downhill until you reach Sidhing, located at 1850 meters. The hike takes you through forests, with occasional views of the Himalayas. You will also find waterfalls, and sparsely populated villages along the way.

After reaching Sidhing, you will take a jeep ride back to Pokhara, where you will have the rest of the day to yourself. You may visit one of many lakes there, or enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the tourist hub.

The Mardi Himal Trek is a Grade-A, or easy trek. This grade is given to treks covering 2000 to 4000 meters elevation, which can be completed within three to seven days.

The 5-day Mardi Himal Trek in Nepal is ideal even for inexperienced hikers. You will walk uphill and downhill between 2000 and 4000 meters, and experience an altitude increase of 400 to 700 meters daily. Though easy, we still advise you to strengthen your legs and increase your stamina. Go on walks and exercise regularly before the trip.
