See Annapurna Base Camp from the air without walking for days. You are collected from your Pokhara hotel in the morning, fly by helicopter into the Annapurna Sanctuary, and are back in Pokhara afterwards.

On the Budget and Standard options you fly on a shared seat, so you may be flying with other travellers on the operator's flight. On the Luxury option the flight is private to your group. Time on the ground at the sanctuary depends on the operator and the weather on the day, and a landing cannot be guaranteed.

This is a day tour, not a trek. Nobody needs to be able to walk uphill, but the sanctuary sits at about 4,130 m, so tell us about any heart, lung or blood-pressure condition before you book.

Why Book This Trek With The Everest Holiday

Three Generations of Family Guides

Family-run since 2016 with three generations of guiding heritage. Not an agency — the family that runs the company leads your trek personally.

Private Group — No Strangers

Every trek we run is private. Your group only. We never combine bookings or add strangers to your party. If you book solo, you walk with a guide; if you book as four friends, your group stays four.

Nagarjun Learning Center Giveback

A fixed share of every booking funds the Nagarjun Learning Center — 70 children, 7 community centres, 3 full-time teachers, 600+ medical interventions, 275+ women supported. You see the impact at the centre on day 1.

Fixed departures are dates we have already committed to run. Your party still treks as its own private group with its own guide; we never merge bookings or add strangers, and solo trekkers are welcome on any date. Private departures on any other date you choose are also available. On both, the per-person price is set by the size of your own party.

Essential Information

Before you fly

  • What to wear: warm layers, a windproof jacket, sunglasses and sun cream. It is cold at 4,000 m even on a clear morning.
  • Health: tell us about any heart, lung or blood-pressure condition. There is no time to acclimatise on a day flight.
  • Weather: flights run in clear conditions, so we plan for the morning. The operator makes the final call on the day.
  • Documents: bring your passport.

FAQs

Not always. A landing and the time on the ground depend on the weather and on the operator's decision on the day. We will tell you before you fly if a landing looks unlikely.
On the Budget and Standard options, yes. You fly on a shared seat, so other travellers may be on the same flight. We do not merge separate private bookings on the ground. On the Luxury option the helicopter flight is private to your group.
If we cannot run your flight because of weather or the operator, we refund what you have paid, less taxes, bank or card charges and any money already spent on your behalf, or move you to another date. If you cancel yourself, the deposit is not refundable, but you can reschedule free to any date within one year with at least 72 hours' notice.
Budget gives you a shared seat, permits and hotel transfers. Standard adds a private vehicle and an escort guide. Luxury gives your group a private flight, SUV-class transfers, an escort guide and lunch.
Our best-time window for the Annapurna area is September to November and March to May. Ask us before you book outside it.
Yes. Buy travel insurance at home, before you travel, and check that it covers helicopter flights and the altitude of this tour. We do not recommend insurance bought in Nepal. The sanctuary is at about 4,130 m and a day flight gives you no time to acclimatise, so tell us about any heart, lung or blood-pressure condition before you book.
