Overview

Paragliding in Nepal is an exciting adventure activity enjoyed by both beginners and experienced thrill seekers. It involves flying a paraglider, which is a light, free-flying aircraft launched on foot and designed without a rigid frame. The pilot sits comfortably in a harness, suspended beneath a durable fabric wing, and glides smoothly through the open sky.

For anyone who wants to experience the feeling of soaring like a bird, paragliding in Pokhara is one of the most popular and rewarding adventures in the country. The sport is relatively new in Nepal, gaining momentum after its introduction around 2007 in the Lakeside area. Since then, it has become a must-try activity for travelers visiting the region.

A paragliding flight offers an unforgettable perspective of the landscape below. As you glide through the air, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Himalayan peaks, lush green hills, peaceful forests, and the shimmering waters of Phewa Lake. The calm and freedom you feel while floating above such stunning scenery often leaves visitors with a deep sense of joy and satisfaction, making it one of the best-value adventure experiences in Nepal.
