An ultralight is a small two-seat aircraft: you sit just behind the pilot with the wind on your face, and the whole of Pokhara, Phewa Lake and the Annapurna range open up around you. On a clear morning it is one of the best views you can get of Machhapuchhre without walking for a week.
You choose how long to fly. Fifteen minutes takes you over the lake and the old town. Thirty minutes goes up towards Machhapuchhre. Sixty minutes gets you close to the Annapurna range, and ninety minutes is the long flight deep along the mountains.
We pick you up from your Lakeside hotel, take you to the airfield and bring you back. The flight runs only when the weather is safe, and the pilot makes that call on the day.
