My name is Purna Kumar Rai, and I am from Solukhumbu, located in the Everest region of Nepal. I have been working as a professional trekking guide for the past 17–18 years, guiding trekkers across different regions of the country.
Throughout my trekking career, I have guided and visited many famous destinations all over Nepal, including the Everest region, Annapurna Circuit, Ghorepani–Poon Hill, Upper and Lower Mustang, Upper and Lower Dolpa, Humla, Jumla, Mugu, Rara Lake, Tilicho Lake and Tilicho Pass, Nar Phu Valley, Makalu Base Camp, Kanchenjunga and Lumba Sumba Pass, Langtang region, Chitwan, and Lumbini, as well as several other beautiful destinations.
Through these trekking journeys, I have gained valuable knowledge about the lifestyles of local people, including their culture, traditions, and traditional foods. I also have a good understanding of local herbal products commonly used by local communities that are beneficial for health.
I enjoy sharing my experience and local knowledge with trekkers, helping them understand the natural beauty and rich culture of Nepal.
