This is a private eight-day honeymoon through the places couples ask us for most: old temples in Kathmandu, a night on the Nagarkot ridge for the sunrise, and three nights in Pokhara beside Phewa Lake.

You travel as a couple with your own guide and your own vehicle, so nobody else decides the pace. There are two short flights, no long road days and no trekking. Standard and Luxury include a flower and cake surprise and a private candle-lit dinner.

Himalayan views depend on the weather. We plan for sunrises and give you spare time, but we cannot promise clear skies.

Why Book This Trek With The Everest Holiday

Three Generations of Family Guides

Family-run since 2016 with three generations of guiding heritage. Not an agency — the family that runs the company leads your trek personally.

Private Group — No Strangers

Every trek we run is private. Your group only. We never combine bookings or add strangers to your party. If you book solo, you walk with a guide; if you book as four friends, your group stays four.

Nagarjun Learning Center Giveback

A fixed share of every booking funds the Nagarjun Learning Center — 70 children, 7 community centres, 3 full-time teachers, 600+ medical interventions, 275+ women supported. You see the impact at the centre on day 1.

Fixed departures are dates we have already committed to run. Your party still treks as its own private group with its own guide; we never merge bookings or add strangers, and solo trekkers are welcome on any date. Private departures on any other date you choose are also available. On both, the per-person price is set by the size of your own party.

Essential Information

Before you go

  • Best months: October to November and February to April for the clearest views. Summer is warm and wet, and mountains are often hidden.
  • What to bring: a warm layer for Nagarkot, comfortable shoes for cobbles and steps, clothes that cover shoulders and knees at temples.
  • Flights: the Pokhara flights are short, run in the morning and can be delayed by weather. We keep a buffer in the plan.
  • Documents: your passport. No marriage certificate is needed.

FAQs

Yes. You travel as a couple, or as two couples together, with your own guide and vehicle. We never add strangers to a private booking.
The route is the same on all three. Budget gives you simple twin-share hotels, breakfast and an English-speaking guide. Standard gives you 3-star private rooms, all meals, a guide in your language where we have one and the flower, cake and dinner surprises. Luxury gives you deluxe ensuite hotels, all meals, a senior guide and a more spacious vehicle.
Often, but not always. Sunrise at Nagarkot and Sarangkot gives you the best chance, and the clearest months are October, November and February to April. In summer cloud hides the peaks most mornings. We cannot promise views, so the plan has spare time and the rest of the trip stands on its own.
Ask us when you book and tell us the dates. We request a double bed from each hotel, but twin rooms are all some hotels have. The room decoration, cake and dinner are included on Standard and Luxury. On Budget we can arrange them for a small extra charge.
If we cannot run your trip, we refund what you have paid, less taxes, bank or card charges and any money already spent on your behalf, or move you to another date. If you cancel yourself, the deposit is not refundable, but you can reschedule free to any date within one year with at least 72 hours' notice notice.
Yes. Buy travel insurance at home, before you travel, and check that it covers medical care, cancellation and the dates of your trip. We do not recommend insurance bought in Nepal.
