Everest Mountain Flight

One hour, the whole Himalaya, Everest at eye level

The Everest mountain flight is the shortest way to stand face to face with the highest mountains on earth. You fly out of Kathmandu in the early morning, along the whole Himalayan skyline to the Everest massif and back, in about an hour, and you are back at your hotel before most of the city has had breakfast. Every seat is a window seat, everyone is called up to the cockpit for the view, and your hotel pickup and drop are included. It is the one thing I recommend to anyone who cannot give two weeks to a trek but does not want to leave Nepal without meeting the mountain.

Your morning

At about five in the morning we pick you up from your Kathmandu hotel and drive you to the domestic terminal, where our own representative checks you in. You board at around half past six. The flight is roughly an hour, out along the Himalaya to the Everest massif and back, and every passenger has a window seat and a turn in the cockpit for the view. You land and are back at your hotel by about eight, with the rest of the day free.

Weather, and why there is no risk to you

Mountain flights only fly in clear conditions. If the flight cannot operate on your day, we move you to the next available departure at no cost, or give you a full refund if you cannot wait. The weather is out of everyone's hands, so we carry that risk, not you.

What it costs

US$300 per person, paid in full to confirm your seat. There is no deposit, because this is a flight and not a trek. Your hotel pickup and drop, a guaranteed window seat, and all airport and government taxes are included.
