With more than 30 years of experience in the trekking industry, Bir Bahadur is a seasoned veteran of the Himalayas. His impressive climbing resume includes successful summits of Makalu Peak and Dhamsu Peak.
He successfully completed his GST (Guide Skills Training) in 2017 and communicates effectively in English. Beyond his physical strength in the mountains, Bir Bahadur is a highly respected Nyingma Buddhist Lama with over 40 years of spiritual practice. This unique background allows him to specialize in Buddhist and spiritual treks, where he offers travelers profound insights into the cultural and religious tapestry of the Himalayas. Whether he is leading a high-pass trek or sharing a quiet moment of reflection at a monastery, Bir Bahadur’s presence ensures a journey that is both safe and soul-stirring. Currently residing in Sato Gumbo, he remains committed to sharing the beauty of his homeland with the world.
