Pisang peak on Annapurna sanctuary region at elevation of 6091 meters is more technical trekking peak that can be combined with Annapurna circuit trek due its location on North of Manang valley initial point of Annapurna trek.

The summiting of Pisang peak to perceive magnetic glance of unique and complete landscape of Manang valley along with grandeur range of snowy Annapurna bathed with sunlight begins from Pisang; beautiful village on backdrop of mountains.

The upper part of peak are steep and fairly exposed slopes of ice and snow and new route West ridge of peak is solid PD.

Itinerary Overview

Arrival at Kathmandu

You will be warmly welcomed by our representative at Tribhuwan International Airport and transferred to hotel by private vehicle.

Kathmandu to Besishahar drive

Drive from Kathmandu along Prithvi Highway passing Dumre to reach Besisahar taking seven hours.

Besishahar to Bahundanda crossing Ngadi

The trek begins from Besisahar passing through flat level trail enchanting on green sceneries   along the coast of Marshyandi river for short duration then climb upward trail to reach Bahundanda to attach with culturally rich Gurung community receiving their warm welcome after having lunch at Ngadi.

Bahundanda to Chamje crossing Jagat

The journey moves from Bahundanda trekking on steep uphill trail via rice terraces from Ngadi till we reach Lali Gaon. The path goes down along the river and we walk downhill to reach Jagat after climbing steep uphill for short duration. Then, we cross forest walking on vertically zigzag path on our way to Chamje from Jagat.

Chamje to Dharapani passing Tal

We continue our journey on downhill trail that leads to river and cross suspension bridge to ascend steep uphill trail till we reach Sattale. Then, we descend to village Tal wandering on narrow path and pass through Karte to find ourselves on Dharapani.

Dharapani to Chame through Dhanakyu, Kotho

We follow path that leads to westward direction up to Manang valley indulging on magnetic vision Annapurna second and Annapurna four. Initially, we walk upward passing through several forests and crossing Dhanakyu, Lattemarang village till we reach Kotho. Then, we follow easy path for half hour to arrive Chame for overnight stay.

Return Flight

We drive you to airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

Pokhara to Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu from Pokhara by tourist vehicle peeping beauty of green sceneries rice terrace fields.

Pothana to Dhampus Phedi and Return drive to Pokhara

We leave Pothana trekking on gently downhill route up to Dhampus. After short walk from Dhampus on easy flat path, we descend to Dhampus Phedi for one and half hours’ drive to Pokhara.

Ghandruk to Pothana through Landruk

We proceed our journey descending up to Modi Khola and climb upward to find ourselves on beautiful village Landruk. Then, we walk sloppy downhill path from Deurali to Pothana after steep uphill trek from Landruk with panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Fishtail on the way.

Tadapani to Ghandruk

Descend to Ghandruk from Tadapani along path passing through rhododendron, oak dense forests. Explore handicraft center and Gurung museum enchanting on rapturous vision of Himalayan peaks, on Ghandruk.

Ghorepani to Tadapani after short hike to Poonhill

Early in the morning with an hour hike to Poonhill enjoy sparkling sunrise view on snowcapped mountains. Then, an hour down trek to Ghorepani, we walk on descending trail crossing Ghar Khola bridge then pass through Deurali to enjoy peaceful environment of beautiful country village Banthanti. We move uphill from Bantanti to reach Tadapani.

Tatopani to Ghorepani passing Phalate, Chitre

We pass through easy and flat level path before climbing steeply uphill along path amidst different villages and cross Kali Gandaki river to ascend elevated path passing villages like Phalate, Chitre till we reach Ghorepani.

Chame to Pisang via Bratang; military station

At continue our journey climbing uphill passing through apple orchard, fir, pine forest then we follow the path to Bratang; military station for troops in past. We walk along the trail that runs via steep and narrow valley to find ourselves on large and beautiful village Pisang.

Rest Day

Rest at Pisang for acclimatization explore upper Pisang.

Pisang to Pisang Base Camp

We cross suspension bridge over Marshyangdi river to climb steep uphill trail passing upper Pisang and leads to Pisang base camp.

Rest Day

Rest at Pisang Base Camp. This is an acclimatization day for the preparation of Pisang summit.

Pisang Base Camp to High Camp

We take gradual climb on south west ridge to reach high camp at the elevation of 5400 meters. We can get eye catching vision of Manang valley from high camp.

High Camp to Summit of Pisang peak and back to base camp

We summit Pisang peak steeply climbing on rocky surfaces for 4 to 5 hours. We have complete panoramic views of Annapurna range, Chulu east, Chulu west Nawal peak from the top then descend down to base camp retracing same route.

Pisang Base Camp to Pisang

Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Pisang and it takes about four hours.The trail moves steep down all the way to Pisang. The view of Annapurna range accompanies you.

Pisang to Manang through Upper Pisang 

We move from Pisang to Manang passing through Upper Pisang crossing Geru with breathtaking vision of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang peak as well as giving sensational experience of standing horizontally front of stunning snow peaks bathed in golden sunlight. We have chance to explore Barge monastery; biggest monastery in Manang district.

Manang to Yak Kharka passing Gunsang

We climb gradually uphill through the village Gunsang then we move ahead through green meadows and cross wooden bridge over small river to reach Yak Kharka enchanting on panoramic views of mountains.

Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi through Ledtar

We leave Yak Kharka climbing uphill at beginning to arrive at village Letdar and trek down to Marsyandi crossing wooden bridge. We reach Thorong Phedi for overnight stay trekking on vertically zigzag path from Marsyandi.

Thorong Phedi to Muktinath passing Thorong la

We move from Thorong Phedi at early morning climbing steep uphill trail immersing on magical vision of glistening snow peaks due to sunlight and tempting view of Kali Gandaki river below till we reach Chorten. Then, we trek down from Thorong la; highest passes in the world from east to west, easiest and safest direction to arrive at Muktinath for overnight stay.

Muktinath to Kagbeni

We proceed our journey trekking down to Kali Gandaki gorge then trek along steeply down trail that passes Jharkot, Khingsar village to arrive at Kagbeni; antique village renowned for Tibetan architectures.

Kagbeni to Marpha

We follow flat path along the bank of Kali Gandaki gorge till we reach Marpha for overnight stay. Marpha beautiful village settled by Tibetan descendants and encompasses culturally graceful Buddhist monastery.

Marpha to Kalopani

We continue our journey to Kalopani walking along the trail on bank of Kali Gandaki that runs through pine, rhododendron and bamboo forests. We can have vision of snow covered Dhaulagiri mountain throughout the day on our trekking from Marpha to Kalopani.

  Kalopani to Tatopani

We follow steeply down trail from Kalopani up to Rukse Jharana(waterfall) then continue journey on slightly downhill path to arrive at Tatopani to enjoy natural hot springs on bank of Kali gandaki river to get rid of skin diseases.

Rest day

Rest at Tatopani.

Arrival at Kathmandu

Pokhara to Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu from Pokhara by tourist vehicle peeping beauty of green sceneries rice terrace fields.

Pothana to Dhampus Phedi and Return drive to Pokhara

We leave Pothana trekking on gently downhill route up to Dhampus. After short walk from Dhampus on easy flat path, we descend to Dhampus Phedi for one and half hours’ drive to Pokhara.

Ghandruk to Pothana through Landruk

We proceed our journey descending up to Modi Khola and climb upward to find ourselves on beautiful village Landruk. Then, we walk sloppy downhill path from Deurali to Pothana after steep uphill trek from Landruk with panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Fishtail on the way.

We proceed our journey trekking down to Kali Gandaki gorge then trek along steeply down trail that passes Jharkot, Khingsar village to arrive at Kagbeni; antique village renowned for Tibetan architectures.

Kagbeni to Marpha

We follow flat path along the bank of Kali Gandaki gorge till we reach Marpha for overnight stay. Marpha beautiful village settled by Tibetan descendants and encompasses culturally graceful Buddhist monastery.

Marpha to Kalopani

We continue our journey to Kalopani walking along the trail on bank of Kali Gandaki that runs through pine, rhododendron and bamboo forests. We can have vision of snow covered Dhaulagiri mountain throughout the day on our trekking from Marpha to Kalopani.

  Kalopani to Tatopani

We follow steeply down trail from Kalopani up to Rukse Jharana(waterfall) then continue journey on slightly downhill path to arrive at Tatopani to enjoy natural hot springs on bank of Kali gandaki river to get rid of skin diseases.

•Domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and flight back from Lukla to Kathmandu.  The flight charge from Kathmandu to Lukla and back from Lukla to Kathmadnu is US$ 190 per person for foreigner (for a round trip) and US$ 70 per Nepali staff (for a round trip)

  • Climbing permit fee:

US$ 350 + US$ 40 for the group of 1 to 5 people in a group

Apart from the climbing fee you have to pay US $ 300 as Sirdar's climbing and equipment fees. This is as per the rule of NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association).

  • Deposit for Garbage Disposal fee is US$ 250 per peak for the group (this deposit is refundable to you after the completion of climb)

 

Food

 You would be offered breakfast, nepali meal at homestay during time at Kathmandu while on trekking you would be provided Nepalese meals three times a day whereas during climbing fresh, hygienic food in terms of water and cooking method would be provided.

Accomodation

 You would be accommodated at Nagarjun home stay with services of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay whereas offered to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during trek and you would be offered accommodation on along with sleeping bag and foam mattress during expedition.
