Langtang valley dominated by splendid Langtang Lirung retains its wilderness character though it is third popular trekking destination of Nepal after Annapurna region and Everest region and marvels with a diverse culture like Hindu, Tamang, Sherpa and many more along with eye-catching glimpses of mountain scenery as well as amazing green pastures used for Yak grazing.
Short trek to Langtang valley begins from Syabrubesi after 8 hours’ audacious bus drive from Kathmandu on bumpy and windy roads of mountainside passing stupas, mani stones and crossing swaying suspension bridges hanging over deep gorges to enjoy the wilderness of Langtang valley with cultural insights visiting monasteries, chhortens and mingling with friendly local people.
Langtang valley was devastated due to the massive earthquake of 2015 causing the death of almost 300 people but Langtang valley has been rebuilt and many tea houses have been opened as well as trails have been repaired so Langtang valley has gained its same aura like before an earthquake.
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi passing Chilime hydropower
Langtang trek begins with nine hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi heading to the north along the road on the bank of Trisuli river. You can go either by public bus or private vehicle but private vehicles are safe and highly recommended. You can observe the Chilime hydropower plant on Syabrubesi designed on the run-of-the-river model.
Day 03: Syabrubesi to Lama hotel through Bamboo
We trek from Syabrubesi along the trail that crosses Bhotekoshi and follows LangtangKhola gradually climbing up to Bamboo passing through landslide to reach Lama Hotel at an elevation of 2470 meters from sea level.
Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang valley via GhoreTabela
We leave Lama Hotel and head toward Langtang village via GhoreTabela passing green meadows utilized to graze Yak and livestock of local people. We explore graceful monastery on way to Langtang valley.
Day 05: Langtang valley to Kanjing Gumba
We trek from Langtang village to Kanjing Gumba after two and a half hours walk and have lunch and take rest for an hour and climb to Kanjing Re viewpoint elevation at 4700m above the sea level.
Day 06: Kanjing Gumba to Lama Hotel:
We return the same way back to Lama Hotel from Kanjing Hotel
Day 06: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
Enjoy 4 hours’ trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi along gradually descending trail with a spellbinding vision of mountains and green hills.
Day 07: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu return drive
Return to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi on nine hours’ drive through the gravel and bumpy road.

Accomodation
You would recommend you accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And recommend you to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during a trek. But the cost does not include any accommodation.
