The iconic beauty offered by Helambu located North of Kathmandu on the lap of Himalayan ranges such as LangtangGanesh Himal, DorjeLhakpa hypnotize your memory. Helambu, inhabitation of Sherpas and Tamang people not only grants a chance to embed on local custom, culture, the festival of Sherpa and Tamang community but also to explore Buddhist culture that is glanced through friendly, humble behavior of local people and solemn environment of the village.

Itinerary Overview

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

You will be warmly welcomed by our representative at Tribhuwan International Airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel by private vehicle.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Sundarijal drive and Trek to Chisopani

After a one-hour drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, the trek begins following the trekking route of Chisopani that passes through Shivpuri National Park enchanting on the beauty of diverse flora and fauna crossing Mulkharka; the village of Tamang inhabitants.

Day 03: Chisopani to Kutumsang passing Gul Bhanjyang

The trek proceeds from Chisopani walking along the trail that runs the midst of green fields and descends down until we reach Gul Bhanjyang. We mount the trail from Gul Bhanjyang to reach Kutumsang.

Day 04: Kutumsang to Tharepati through MeraDanda

The trek leads ahead leaving Kutumsang climbing gradually risen trail via rhododendron, fir forest and farmland we land MeraDanda at an elevation of 3510 meters that offers alluring mountain peaks at the north side and lustrous beauty of the forested valley below the ridge. Then, we move to Tharepati for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Tharepati to Tarkeghyang crossing MelamchiKhola

The trek moves ahead to Tarkeghyang that consumes about six hours descending the trail we cross MelamchiKhola, then we trek gently up to Tarkeghyang; beautiful Sherpa village synonymed as Helambu where antique and biggest monasteries reside.

Day 06: Tarkeghyang to Shermathang

Grab the moment to explore Sherpa culture, religion on a trek from Tarkeghyang over the easier trail via flatland with beautiful forests crossing small streams to reach Shermathang, to perceive scenic beauty of Jugal Himal.

Day 07: Shermathang to Melamchipul Bazaar

Move along the gently descending trail from Shermangthang through meadows and harvested fields to access to Melamchi bazaar, inhabitation of ethnic Sherpa community.

Day 08: Melamchipul Bazaar to Kathmandu drive

Return to Kathmandu from Melamchipul Bazaar that takes four and a half hours.

Day 09: Return Flight

We drive you at the airport on the basis of your scheduled flight.

<p>To enjoy your trip more you need to be comfort and breathability all day long, for that you need to put emphasis on equipment’s that are necessary. Food

No meals are included on the cost but our staff and guide will help you get access to the best restaurants and hotels in Kathmandu and also help you get access to good organic and healthy meals during your trek. Our sister Agency Everest Trekkers Fuel is also the sole provider of freeze-dry trekking and climbing meals and can be provided to you with small Additional Cost.

Accomodation

You would recommend you accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And recommend you to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during a trek. But the cost does not include any accommodation. Our guide and staff will help you to get access to the best accommodation at the budget value.
