On the very first day of our trek, we will stay in Phakding (2610m) and next day our hiking will be for Namche Bazaar (3500m), where you will stay for 2 nights to acclimatize with high altitude. After spending an extra day in Namche, we will hike up to Tengboche (3850m) which is the best place in Everest region to have a close view of Everest Himalayan range. Tengboche (some people called “Tyangboche” also) is known as religious place among the Sherpa community in Khumbu area (Solukhumbu district). Here we will explore one of the biggest Buddhist Monasteries of this trail – Tengboche Monastery. Our trip will not finish here as we need to visit another most popular and largest Sherpa village of the area; Khumjung (3,790 m.). Khumjung is popular for Sir Edmund Hillary in 1961, when he established a school for Sherpa community “Hillary School”. For another couple of days, we will continue our hike down to Phakding and Luka to finish the trek.

Itinerary Overview

Day 01:  Kathmandu to Lukla flight to Phakding

We depart Kathmandu to Lukla in flight for 30 minutes. in Lukla we take lunch and take 30-minute rest after that we will start our trek to Phakding which take 3 hours to reach Phakding


 Day 02: Phading to Namche 

We cross the Dudh Koshi river bridge walking gradually plane hills and then again crossing another suspension bridge we start heading all the way up to Namche bazar. Namche bazar is one of the best spots to have a mesmerizing view of many mountains like nupla, sar, khumbila, Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, etc. around 5-6 hour of walk we reach to Namche. 


Day 03: Rest to Namche

 today we climb uphill to see Mount Everest for the first time and there is a big Everest view hotel from where we can see Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, etc. and after a short break, we return back to Namche and rest 


Day 04: Namche to Pangboche

 We will wakeup at 6'0 clock and take breakfast then move toward Pangboche. The walk from Tengboche is mostly downhill which is interesting to walk and there is a monastery. from Pangboche we can see the amadalam mountain. it takes around 5-6 hours to reach Pangboche.


Day 05:Pangboche to Dingboche

Today we trek through the coniferous forest to Deboche. From there, we pass the suspension bridge over the Imja Khola river and climb uphill towards Pangboche village. the altitude of Dingboche is about 4,350 m. it takes almost 3 hours to reach there and after that, we will have lunch and go to the viewpoint, we see amadalam mountain, island peak, Nangkartshang peak, etc


Day 06:Dingboche to Lobuche

 The trail goes uphill to Thukla offering a stunning view of Tawachee and Cholatse. Then, we trek towards Lobuche village; from where we see the view of mountain peaks like Lobuche, Pumori, and Nuptse.  we will reach to the height of 4,910 m. it will take around 5-6 hours.


Day 07: Lobuche to Gorakshep 

 Early in the morning, we will head toward Gorakshep. it lies in an altitude of 5,180 m height. it is an easy and short rout. it takes 3 hours to reach Gorakshep. after reaching Gorakshepwe will have lunch and have like a 30-minute rest and later we will head up towards Everest base camp and return back to Gorakshep.


Day 08:Gorakshep to Pheriche 

 we will wake up early in the morning and take our breakfast then move towards Pheriche. Pheriche lies in an altitude of 4270m height. it takes 6-7 hours to reach there.


Day 09:  Pheriche to Namche 

 The walk from Pheriche is mostly downhill which is interesting to walk. we will pass through Deboche, there is a monastery.  it is at an altitude of 3850m height. it will take around 6-7 hours to reach Namche.


Day 10: Namche to Lukla 

You will follow the Dudh Koshi trail back to Lukla, going up and down at a sweet pace. You can buy special souvenirs like the yak bell on your way back. The last evening will be spent among the amiable Sherpa sipping on a traditional drink chhyaang and enjoying the Sherpa dance in the lap of Himalayas. 


Day 11: Return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu 

If the weather condition if good, You take a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla and it takes almost 30 minutes.

No meals are included on the cost but our staff and guide will help you get access to the best restaurants and hotels in Kathmandu and also help you get access to good organic and healthy meals during your trek. Accomodation

You would recommend you accommodated at Nagarjun homestay with facilities of hot water, western toilets, electricity, television, free WIFI during Kathmandu stay. And recommend you to stay at teahouses with facilities granted by teahouses during a trek. But the cost does not include any accommodation.
